How to Manage Your Subscription Preferences

At SendX, we recognize the importance of managing subscription preferences in email marketing. To provide a seamless experience for your users, we have developed a solution that allows them to unsubscribe from specific campaigns while remaining subscribed to your platform. 

Step 1: Create Lists

Start by creating two lists: List A and List B.

Import your contacts into these lists accordingly.

Step 2: Create Tags Next,

Create two tags: Tag A and Tag B.

Step 3:

Set Up Automation For both the lists and tags you created in Step 2, follow these steps:

  • Trigger: When contacts are added to Tag A
  • Action: Remove contacts from List A

Repeat the same process for Tag B and List B.

Step 4: Create an Embedded Form Design an embedded form that includes checkboxes for contacts and tags. Additionally, include an unsubscribe button to provide users with the option to manage their preferences.

Step 5: Add the Embedded Form to a Landing Page Copy the shortcode of the embedded form and add it to a landing page. This landing page will serve as the destination for users who wish to manage their preferences.

Step 6: Add the Landing Page URL Copy the URL of the landing page created in Step 5 and add it as a "manage preferences" link at the top of your email's unsubscribe footer. This will enable users to easily access the form and update their preferences.

Each email you send will include a "manage preferences" option, redirecting users to the embedded form. Through the automation setup in Step 3, users' selections will result in their removal from the respective lists, ensuring their preferences are accurately updated.
